With a modern fleet consisting of two Airbus A330 NEOs and two Airbus A320 NEOs, Aircalin, New Caledonia’s international airline, is committed to ensuring the safety, punctuality, and satisfaction of its passengers. To consolidate its medium-term development strategy and improve operations on its new Nouméa–Paris route via Bangkok, Aircalin will acquire two Airbus A350-900s between 2026 and 2028.

To strengthen our operations team, we are looking for1 Flight Dispatcher (M/F) forour Operations Control Center (OCC).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

At the OCC (Operations Control Center), you will monitor flights in coordination with the flight crew. You will be responsible for flight preparation and monitoring.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Stay alert and pay attention to flight-related announcements at all times during the flight and while preparing for it;
  • Monitor the feasibility of today's flights;
  • Prepare the flights;
  • Report operational constraints and available capacity to Load Control;
  • Provide the relevant airports and aviation services with any information necessary for handling the aircraft in transit or at its destination;
  • Conduct a clear and concise crew briefing, emphasizing relevant factors that could jeopardize the smooth conduct of operations;
  • Ensure uninterrupted flight tracking;
  • Handle PN standby calls outside of regular business hours;
  • Oversee the program modification process three days before the event;
  • In the event of an operational contingency, take control of the flight plan;
  • Conduct document reviews (analysis of briefings, flight plans, etc.) and report the findings to department management.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Flight Dispatcher / Air Operations Agent certification recognized by the civil aviation authority (ESMA, ENAC, or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of experience as a flight dispatcher
  • Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation, as well as flight plan and flight scheduling systems
  • Proficiency with computer tools and flight planning software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical skills, responsiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Energy and organizational skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION    

Full-time, permanent position with rotating shifts, to be filled as soon as possible at Tontouta Airport, New Caledonia.
