Learn how to master aircraft loading planning and optimization procedures.

This training course teaches you how to operate aircraft load plan procedures using Amadeus Altéa Flight Management (FM) software.

Altéa Flight Management (FM): the challenges

The Amadeus Altéa Flight Management training course enables you to master one of the most widely used software programs for aircraft weight and balance processing in airport environments.

This course provides essential technical skills for calculating, optimizing, and securing an aircraft's load (passengers, baggage, cargo, goods) using a professional flight management tool dedicated to handling and stopovers.

Key skills developed

  • Accurate analysis and recording of loads: passengers, baggage, cargo, and air freight
  • Automated calculation of the optimal distribution to ensure compliant and secure centering
  • Advanced use of the graphical user interface to speed up processing and improve operational productivity
  • Editing, reading, and interpreting essential messages (LDM, CPM, LIR, Loaddata)
  • Generation and validation of operational documents related to weight and balance
  • Centralization and supervision of loading data for better coordination of ground operations

Training objective

Train profiles capable of optimizing aircraft load, controlling weight and balance, and using Amadeus Altéa FM independently and in accordance with handling/airline requirements.

The challenge: ensuring safe, efficient operations that comply with airport standards.

Altéa Flight Management (FM) training program

This training has been designed to be operational within an airline or airport company.

The policy of the OpsForm training center is to keep abreast of the latest developments and new features of Altéa Flight Management (FM) software on a daily basis.

Educational section

It is divided into several separate modules designed to provide an in-depth understanding of each sequence of the Amadeus Altéa Flight Management (FM) software .

Assessment

Assessments take the form of supervised quizzes, conducted in person, remotely, or directly at the company, depending on the learner's operational context.

Each quiz requires a minimum score of 80% correct answers to be validated.

Certification is also based on a practical assessment: learners must be able to produce and validate an aircraft loading plan using Amadeus Altéa Flight Management software .
